  • We endeavour to respond to client queries within 48 hours of receiving the email or message.
  • Your appointment is very important to us. However, we understand that there are unexpected situations that may conflict with our appointment time.
  • Due to limited availability on our calendar, travel schedule and many other factors, we request that you give at least 48 hours notice to cancel a scheduled appointment of a booked session. This gives us opportunity to fill your appointment slot, if you not be able to attend the booking. You may cancel your appointment by phone or email.
  • Any cancellation or rescheduling made less than 48 hrs before our appointment time will be considered a no-show and will result in your forfeiting payment for the booking.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment at any time due to unforeseen situations, that may be due to a medical, travel, or personal situation.

Refund Policy

  • When you sign up for an appointment, you hold a spot on our calendar, to provide the best service possible to you. We hope you will take advantage of our time together, but if you do not, we unfortunately cannot provide a refund.
  • Refunds are not available once a session - or in the case of a package or group class, once the first session - has commenced.
  • In the case of a cancellation made at too short notice (less than 48-hours) refunds are also not applicable.
  • Where a refund is requested and approved, we will process your refund within ten working days and via the same payment method as money was received.

Vaccination Policy

  • Thrive Dog Care strongly supports the use of vaccination in the control of infectious disease in pet animals. We recognise that adverse reactions, including lack of efficacy may occasionally occur, but that the overall benefit-versus-risk analysis supports the continued use of vaccination to control major infectious diseases.
  • Thrive Dog Care requires that all dogs are veterinary certified for vaccination against key infectious disease or provide evidence of titre testing which determines whether your dog has enough antibodies to protect itself against viruses for which it has previously been vaccinated against.
  • Regular safe and effective control of internal and external parasites according to risks is required to attend group classes, and also reduce the likelihood of household exposure.

Your Dog Walk, Home Visit or Training Session

  • We can only provide in-home sessions within our coverage area.
  • All learning/training sessions are held at your home or other suitable locations.
  • If your dog has been ill, had diarrhoea or been vomiting, or has otherwise been unwell in the 48 hours before your appointment, please contact us before our scheduled session. It may be better to miss or alter the session for your dog’s comfort but we will discuss the next best steps.
  • We aim to be on time for your session, but where unforeseen circumstances or traffic make us late, we will contact you immediately to let you know.
  • We are unable to make up for time lost during your session due to interruptions as: preparing or eating meals, taking phone calls, or interacting with children who are attending.
