You don’t have to feel uncomfortable about leaving your pet at home.
I offer daily walks to suit you and your dog’s needs. A group walk has a maximum of three dogs. I make sure that that the personalities and needs
of the dogs match, so that the dogs will feel safe around each other.

I am a qualified Dog Walker and member of the Modern Dog Walkers Association. This means I am committed to their high quality standards and Best Practice Guidelines. Your pet is in professional hands with me.

I like to meet your dog(s) before they join us. To begin to build a relationship with them. I will also assess how they match with other dogs and if they have special needs. Dogs are always supported and carefully introduced in a safe environment, when first meeting unfamiliar dogs.

Walks take place at dog friendly, public locations. Safety and wellbeing are priority and will be guaranteed. All dogs will be kept on a lead until it is safe for them to be off lead. Dogs will have the opportunity to play with each other if they are a play-match and only if the environment is safe to do so.

Walks are available late in the morning and beginning of the afternoon. Our walks are 45 to 60 minutes. This does not include travel time for pick up & drop off at home. On very wet, muddy days, walks are slightly reduced, allowing time for the dogs to be washed down and towel dried as best I can and left in a place, requested by the owner.

People on a walk usually keep track of time, distance and destination. We can be thinking about what needs doing when we get home. Or checking in with our smart phone. For dogs a walk is completely here-and-now. It is all about discovering what is going on in the area. This is why scents and what these tell them are so hugely important for dogs. They can even smell back in time. Scent can tell that rabbits were about earlier that night. And that Mr. Fox passed by not long ago. Or "Wow, next door's bitch smells very nice this morning”.

Dogs have phenomenal nose skills. The dog's nose is 100,000 to 1 million times more sensitive than ours. Dogs have an enormous part of their brain dedicated to processing odours. In humans this is 5% of the brain and in dogs this is an impressive 33%! Scenting is their main source of information about the world. If we could smell what they do, we might well go mad. It is far more than we can process.
